Holy Covenant MCC is an open and affirming Christian community of faith that has been serving the Chicagoland area for over 30 years. We celebrate the call of the Bible to embody the spirit of hospitality. It is in this spirit that we welcome people of all genders, races, sexual orientations, gender identities, ages, and socio-economic means to participate in the full life and ministry of Holy Covenant.
It is in this spirit that we especially welcome you to attend one of our worship services. We have two Sunday services one at 9:00 a.m., and one at 11:00 a.m. The 9:00 service contains elements similar to most mainline Protestant traditions (Methodist and Presbyterian, for example), while the 11:00 a.m. service elements lean in a more informal direction in their style of worship. And you can't beat the food and conversation during our social hours between services, as well as following the 11:00 a.m. service!

Holy Covenant also provides many services to the Community that are commonly provided by larger organized traditions such as Weddings, Holy Unions, Baptism, etc., and our building is available for rent to use for parties, dances, anniversaries, conferences or business meetings, etc. If you are interesting in renting our facility please call the church or email ian@holycovenantmcc.org.

Every Monday - Crazy Crafters at 7:00 p.m.
Do you like to make things? Are crafts a hobby of yours? or are you just interested in learning about crafts. If the answer to any of these questions is "yes," then Crazy Crafters is the place for you. All are welcome to attend.
Every Tuesday - Yoga

Wednesday's in March - Uppity Women of the Bible Course at 7:00 p.m.
Rev. Angie Thinnes will be facilitating this sure-to-be interesting DVD series led by Hebrew scholar Lisa Michele Wolfe. The series starts with the book of Ruth, and is followed by the book of the Song of Songs.
Every Saturday - Women's AA Group at 7:00 p.m.
Sunday, March 7th - Loaves & Fishes
On the first Sunday of every month as part of our Loaves & Fishes ministry the people of Holy Covenant MCC make donations of food and toiletries to local charitable organizations. The beneficiary is St. Barbara's Church (Brookfield) Food Pantry. If you would like to participate in this important outreach of our church, please bring your donations to Fellowship Hall whenever you can. Soup, peanut butter, oatmeal, flour, shampoo, shaving cream, tooth paste all items are welcomed and needed. As you shop for your own household this week, why not pick up a couple items for donation to people who need your help?
Friday, March 12th - Game Night at 7:00 p.m.
Game Night is at Holy Covenant on the second Friday of the month at 7:00 p.m. Bring your favorite game and join us for a couple hours of fun and fellowship. See Jackie Thurston for more information.
Saturday, March 13th - MCC Cluster Conference Gathering at 9:00 a.m.
We are excited to announce that Holy Covenant MCC will be hosting the "Super Duper Double Cluster Conference II: March Gladness" on Saturday, March 13th from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. We will gather to worship, discuss MCC's Restructuring Proposal, and provide a Board of Directors training workshop that is open not only to current Board members, but also to anyone interested in learning more about the duties of our church Boards. We are also researching the possibilities for other types of workshops; for example, how to make the most of technology in your ministry. And of course, you know there will be plenty of fabulous food and fellowship! While the conference itself is free, we will accept donations to cover the cost of the food.
By registering in advance, we will have an idea of how many people to expect, which will greatly assist our menu and logistics planning. We are also excited to report that our lift is now operational, which means our building is fully accessible. The monthly Board of Directors Meeting starts at 7:15 p.m. in Fellowship Hall. All are welcome to attend.
Thursday, March 25th - Night Ministry Outreach: Pilsen at 7:00 p.m.
Meet at the church at 7:00 p.m. to prepare dinner and/or serve at the Night Ministry's Health Outreach Bus - Pilsen Stop. Come and participate in this very rewarding ministry. For more information, please contact the church office at 708-387-1611.
Saturday, March 27th - Breakfast with the Easter Bunny at 9:00 a.m.
Come join us for an All-you-can-eat Pancake Breakfast with the Easter Bunny from 9:00 a.m. to noon. The $6.00 per person price includes breakfast, a photo with the Easter Bunny and an Easter egg hunt. There will also be an Easter basket raffle, with tickets priced at $1 each or 6 for $5.
Attend a service at Holy Covenant before March 27th and bring your bulletin to the breakfast to receive a $1 discount. Children under the age of 5 eat free with a paying adult.
