Our Lay Delegate
Function of Lay Delegates
Lay Delegates are elected by the congregation, and serve the congregation for three years. The primary functions of the Lay Delegate(s) are to represent the congregation at General Conferences and Regional Gatherings, and to communicate with the congregation regarding MCC concerns and policies.
The present Lay Delegate is Charles Brignall
Charles began attending Holy Covenant in 2007, and was baptized and joined the church in March, 2010. As Lay Delegate, He is proud to represent Holy Covenant to the MCC denomination/movemen. In addition to ushering, Charles volunteers non-sensical services for church dances, such as closet organization, Christmas set-up and poker lessons. Charles will participate in his 3rd Ride for AIDS this summer, a two day, two hundred mile bike ride to raise funds for local AIDS charities, as well as his sixth Out of the Darkness walk, which benefits suicide awareness and prevention charities.
